I would float along the coast starting with:
- Yeppoon
Here is a poem I wrote of my encounter with Aussie Ron-
A man named Ron invited me in for tea, at first I said no but he offered biscuits and so how could I resist,
'Bout to cook some dinner with a broken stove- No worries, Ron jumped in.
72 years of age, 50 of them spent married to Mora, she opened is heart and it never closed,
He showed me tears and we shared laughs recounting his stories,
Stories of crocs and ski comps- talking with Ron never ends,
Who knew we would have stuff in common with this wandering girl from Los Angeles, Before I go in the morning, it was a cup of joe- farewell to a nice man who lives on the road here in Yeppoon.
